2014 Mellow Mushroom National Pizza Trials Winners

The Mellow Mushroom National Pizza Trials Bring New Talent to the U.S. Pizza Team!
Mellow Mushroom in Downtown Chattanooga held it’s first annual National Pizza Trails Dec. 11th, 2014. The trials drew competitors from as far away as Los Angeles and everywhere in between to compete for a chance to be on the USPT and a grand prize of a trip to the World Pizza Championships in Parma, Italy in 2015. Events included Best Pie, Largest Dough Stretch, Fastest Pie Maker and Fastest Box Folder.
The winner of the grand prize trip to Italy was Michael LaMarca of Master Pizza, Cleveland, OH.
The events this year garnered four new members to the U.S. Pizza Team:
