Registration is now open for pizza makers to compete in the Galbani Professionale Pizza Cup (GPPC), sponsored by Galbani Professionale & hosted by the US Pizza Team. The event returns to the Pizza Tomorrow Summit and Florida Restaurant Show in Orlando, Florida, October 25-27, 2026

This year, the culinary side of the Cup focuses on four categories designed to test every corner of a pizzaiolo’s craft:

• Pizza in the Pan – Celebrate the art of pan pizza using a Galbani or Lactalis brand cheese. Grand Prize: Trip to Italy to compete at the 2027 Campionato Mondiale della Pizza.
  
  
• On the Menu – Bring a pizza currently featured on your restaurant’s menu. Open to professional pizza makers and operators only. Current menu verification required.
  
  
• Pizza for 2 (Pizza a Due) – Team up with a partner to create one championship-caliber pizza, where teamwork is just as important as technique.
  
  
• Backyard Pizza Oven – Fire up a portable backyard pizza oven in this division open to both professionals and amateurs. Limited entries available.
  
  
• Pizza Athletics – Compete in Freestyle Acrobatics, Largest Dough Stretch, Fastest Pizza Maker and Fastest Box Folder. Freestyle Acrobatics Champion earns a trip to Italy.
  
  

Designed to showcase the creativity and skill of America’s top pizzaioli, this year’s event will feature a dynamic mix of culinary and acrobatic competitions, culminating in one ultimate champion earning a trip to compete internationally in 2027, courtesy of the U.S. Pizza Team and Galbani Professionale.
