US Pizza Winter Team Acrobatic Trials

The US Pizza Team will be holding its annual Winter Acrobatic Trials at the NAPICS show in Columbus, Oh. February 15-16th.

 

The Trials draw pizza athletes from across the country to compete for their spot on the team and a grand prize of a trip to Parma, Italy to compete in the World Pizza Championships in May of 2015.

 

Competitors will be tested on a variety of dough skills such as largest dough stretch, fastest pie maker and Freestyle acrobatics. The event will also include a fastest box folder competition. Events will be from 10am-3pm Feb. 15th and 16th at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. The U.S. Pizza Team consists of expert pizza makers and dough-spinning acrobatic performers from pizza restaurants across the United States. The squad won the Team Acrobatics World Championship in Salsomaggiore, Italy, in 2011.
