Karvelas Pizza Co. serves up a special pizza born out of some of the tastiest flavors we’ve come across. Southern ingenuity and great products from Galbani® Cheese are a match made Down South! Whether you call it glamorous or not, you’ll have to admit it’s dang sure delicious.
The Southern Swag Pizza
20 oz. Dough ball (stretched to 16″)
8 oz. Chunky blue cheese sauce
10 oz. Galbani® Premio Shredded Mozzarella
1 lb. Galbani® Ricotta
1 Packet of Ranch mix
12-16 oz. Breaded and fried chicken breast chunks (tossed in sauce)
Copperhead Road Sauce (garlic Buffalo wing sauce mixed + mustard based bbq sauce + hot sauce)
Chopped green onions
Mix your Galbani® Ricotta and ranch mix to taste. Place in a piping bag and save for later. Mix your wing, bbq and hot sauces to taste for your Copperhead Road Sauce.
Stretch out your dough ball to a 16″ crust. Using a gloved hand, spread your chunky blue cheese sauce across the base of the pizza leaving a 1.25″ crust line around the edge.
Toss your fried chicken chunks in your Copperhead Road sauce until covered to your liking. Spread the dressed chicken evenly across your pizza.
Cover pizza with your Galbani® Premio Shredded Mozzarella. Bake at 500° for about 7-8 minutes, or until crust is fully baked.
Remove from oven and cut pizza. Evenly dollop your ricotta/ranch mix across the whole pizza. Top with chopped green onions and serve with a side dipper of Copperhead Road Sauce.
